Scot Web 2

Edit key is sc0tw3b2

We now have 60 people registered for the event. Thanks to everyone who has indicated they will attend.

There will be presentations by Simon Dickson on Wordpress and work done in Whitehall departments ; BT and their Tradespace product ; Iain Henderson and his mydex ID management ; James Munro and Patient Opinion

Elsewhere we have the ability to host three or four gatherings in one room and two in another room. This will allow for much smaller numbers in discussion groups.

Possible subjects

Web 2 techniques and training / use of Wordpress

What else are people looking for, or able to contribute ?

Please create a wiki entry for your particular subject matter, or group interest, and contribute to others ? I have started two examples for the Scottish Parliament and the Voluntary Sector, and you are welcome to add others.....

And a couple of general questions:

1. anyone coming from Education (Primary/Secondary/Tertiary) or is this sector to be the Elephant in the Room (but in a good way)?

2. Depending on how we all get on together on Friday, would anyone be willing to share contact points (Twitter, blogs, etc. or other web 1.0 or older ways of getting in touch) to practice being a Community? We could think of this as starting how we would would like to promote going on, perhaps?
